Classy, easy to drink Tequila. I still love a “lick-sip-suck” however this is top shelf - drink neat it’s smooth & very tasty

This Tequila is smooth. Is very nice to drink. Don't need to mask the flavour with salt and lemons/limes... If you have to do that it's a bad quality Tequila.

For tequila, you can’t go past the 1942 range by Don Julio. This reposado tequila is clean and flavoursome. Try using this in a Tommy Margarita recipe. You won’t be disappointed!

Can i just say i have never been a fan of tequila but have always enjoyed a margerita on a hot summers day but still found the taste of the cheaper ones still a tad rough and much preferred to shoot if i was to have some....but this stuff is just to die for, it still has a good smoky flavour which is my taste, nice strong flavour but oh so smooth and very well balanced perfect margarita...iv yet to try this straight up but if you like me enjoy a mix on a hot day you just have to give this drink a go if only you buy once becausemof the price you wont be dissapointed.

Easily the best Reposado Tequila i've tried to date. As I was sipping away at this I was following the tasting notes on Don Julio's website and they are virtually spot on. the color is very light straw with very light citrus and vanilla and a lightish baking spice in the aroma. there's also a fresh fruit thing going on in there too. it's kind of a combination of freshly baked agave and green apples. Tasting this at first sip I definitely get the vanilla and sweet sherbet lollies. The website describes dark chocolate but I didn't pick up on that one to say the least. Finish is warming and suprisingly spicy if left to swirl in your mouth. It's a relatively simple Tequila, but smooth as silk with zero alcohol bite. just those smooth baking spices that rest in the back of your mouth. as other people here have said don't mix this one, just sip it neat or over ice. well worth having a bottle of. Fox.
