It's been a while since I had bourbon whiskey so with another member discount on offer (just after another but seemingly better - sigh!) I decided it was time to get some to add to the cocktail ingredients. This brand was new to me and seemed best bang for buck - reduced priced and order discount - so I gave it a try. Wow! I'm so glad I did! Tthis 40%er is smooth and mellow and deliciously vanilla-oaked, it might just be the nicest I've had (but playing devil's advocate maybe it might be less complex than some more expensive/better known brands? I dunno...) It's great as a sipping whiskey and not too expensive to risk mixing with either. One I will undoubtably buy again if I can get a similar deal!

Very similar to Jim Beam white label. But with a Makers Mark price tag.
