I've put off trying this vodka for well over 10 years... Years wasted it seems, this is one of the best tasting budget vodkas I've had. Red Square is the worst vodka you can buy (even the Australian made Damirov and Orilov is better) closely followed by Mishka and Smirnoff. I tested Ruskov blind against Skyy, Polikov, Karavan and Russian Standard for fair comparison. Ruskov of beat Skyy and Polikov with Standard for the win. I was surprised it was so smooth for the price, it's defiantly taking place in my everyday line up. Plus it's actually made in Russia and bottled in France.

I only drink vodka and have tried most brands, cheapest to more flashy types(costly too). This no frills vodka beats some of the more expensive vodkas out there hands down, its smooth, has a crisp clean flavour and doesn't try to be too Vodkery like some cheaper brands (are you listening RED SQUARE)
