I tried pliers and flat screwdriver to unlock the stopper but it will not budge. I will probably damage it if I try too much so I'm considering getting a corkscrew or heat gun to melt the plastic

I would recommend this to a friend!
Tastes a bit too much like whiskey for a Cognac however if you like that flavour its great and smooth, worth trying if you like whiskey and want something different but similar.
