A great beer from a great brewery. This ale is a good all rounder. It's in the pale ale mould; modest carbonation, little in the way of head, pine, grapefruit and bergamot on the nose. More lively on the palate than in the glass, and when the foam has died down, modest amounts of malt followed by a citrus hop bomb and a dry finish. This ale will do well in hot or cold weather. And, at 4.3% incredibly sessionable. $4.38 per 500ml can when bought by the case is a steal for such a well crafted ale, I think. Enjoy!
