A lovely cognac, but please, please do not follow the drinking instructions above. Never add ice to a cognac or armagnac, They are to be warmed, not cooled, And please do not water them down. These are instructions for scotch, not cognac.

Bought a bottle of this based on the reviews (my bad) I opened it on new years to share with friends and man what a let down, honestly tastes like cheap whiskey (Johnny walker) nothing like brandy at all. Nore my friends or myself liked it and ended up mixing it with coke as it tasted like scotch lol absolutely terrible, I regret spending the money but i learned from my mistake. I don't recommend! I bought this for my husband as he really likes it and has been buying it for many years. It is one of his favourite VSOP's.

Don't trust the good reviews. The drink can't compete even with the Chatelle Napoleon brandy. Too heavy not to have a snack. Never buy it again.

My husband drinks this and it is one that he really likes. For someone who usually drinks Courvoisier VSOP or Hennesy VSOP it must be good.

A Classic drink after a meal with friends. At times I enjoy it before meal as well.
