Potentially a great wine but too old

I had one bottle recently (vintage 2006): it was well beyond its best drinking age. Nice perfumes, but the flavours were missing (decanted for more than 2 hours and used appropriate glasses). Dan Murphy’s should display the vintage on the website. Definitely not worth 100$
