This is a top quality wine from 2nd generation winemaker Tim Kirk. This is named after a family member who passed away earlier than anticipated so it holds a special place for the family, and the special quality reflects that.

This is my 'go to' Shiraz. The black pepper is the cherry on top. Clonakilla is doing some wonderful things. Kudos to the viticulturists and wine makers.

I've always enjoyed a Clonakilla. All the way up until I purchased a cellar release (2015?) from Dan's Wolli Creek on the way to a dinner. The wine was mostly vinegar and anti-climax for parties involved. To be fair, I'm not sure the blame is on the vineyard here..

Taster ,

2018 O'riada Shiraz- Canberra district , dark red, excellent nose with rich red berry chocolate full body, Taste- highly acidic, low fruit, tart, tight, light tannin - have returned the rest of this wine to DM.

A very good vintage in Canberra has helped this (almost) entry level Shiraz drink better than most $80 bottles I've had in the past. Simple incredibe! Drinking well now but by no means near its best. Look again in 5 years and be blown away again.

Was given this wine as a gift. Am picky about my wines, but compared to many of the Hunter Valley Shiraz, this was so much more drinkable, balanced and perfect for enjoying at the end of the day. Not too warm, not too light. Highly recommended.

Stunning shiraz-viognier blend. The viognier is not apricotty or overplayed, just adds to the overall elegance. In the glass the colour is almost inpentrably dark with a crazy mix of spices on the nose. On the palate the wine is black-pastelle-fruited, medium-bodied yet rich with impeccable balance and amazing length. Just awesome - Get some!

Clonakilla's Tim Kirk has got the magic touch. His Clonakilla O'Riada Shiraz is a Shiraz with a touch of Viognier. What a result! Elegant and fruity it's a must-try wine but only share it if you must.
