I'm not a big fan of oaked [often overoaked?] Chardonnays but this is quite restrained. This time with a creamy mushroom pasta - a pleasant summer alternative to, say, a Pinot Noir. A bit sensitive to the temperature - try it a little warmer than a chilled summer wine.

I had this wine with a friend at a Cafe. I am not a lover of big complex Chards but I do prefer them to Sav Blanc. I found this wine to be creamy soft and a very easy drinking wine that stills provides the full flavour experience of a Chard. I enjoy this at lunch or with tasting plates, fish pie and light meals.
