By far, the tastiest low carb beer I've tried. Similar, to some extent, to the taste of the 4 Pines Pacific Ale.

I am a Coopers Pale drinker, and have been for over 30 years. I thought no beer in the world would change this- especially a ‘lower carb’ pale ale. My experience to date with lower carb beers is that they all taste like flavoured water, and- there is no lower carb pale I have ever found palatable….. Until now. I compared these two beers, and the James Squire totally blew me away. Even my son- who is generally a non-beer drinker- loved it. Lower carb is also a bonus. I’m a convert, and- I suggest everyone gives it a try.

Tried looking for a low carb alternative and didn’t like the taste.

Having to limit my sugar intake I’ve tried many of those clear bottled low carb beers. This has the hops and malt flavours of a craft beer and you don’t have to wish you were drinking something else. Also it’s in a dark bottle usually used to protect the flavours inside.

This beer doesn't have that overwhelming fruit flavour, but there is a little bit of peach flavour possibly, in a very natural way. Not synthetic. It's never ever a bloat in your guts and for that I owe it a million, truly. I suggest sitting out front of your house with a big wine glass and just keep filling it up with these Strides, one at a time. Never stop. For background, I have often been a high strength beer drinker, from VX to Aftermath to Tusk, I've done all the dumb things. But honestly, I can get more tipsy on these for less dough because they're cheaper and way way smoother. Maybe it's just a phase, but this is my current pastime.

I tried to get through a bottle of this tasteless shocker, poured half down the sink.......avoid unless you are drinking low carb beer for medical reasons
