This wine has been around for many years and has always had a good pedigree,can be constantly passed over by unknown wine drinkers,but people who know their reds ,know Barwang.Has great characteristics to be enjoyed socially over fine dining and accompanies most red meats.Give it a go you will be surprised.

Promising nose but the wine wine itself is thin and rather insipid. No value for money if, like me, you can't even be bothered to finish your glass. Don't bother...

While I tried not to be distracted by the '94 points' rating, this is an excellent value for money wine. Palate is classic cabernet, with good, long finish. Lots of rich fruit and tannins on the palate, with a great nose. Drank the previous vintage and it was just as good. Not sure where they source their fruit, but it is very good quality. While it may not be a long-term keeper, it is excellent drinking now and over the next few years for sure. You won't be disapppointed - just give it a little time to breathe and enjoy.

Attracted by the name. Wine was underwhelming, the quality was directly linked to the price so no bargain really.
