i have drunk Lyres alcohol free american bourbon before and it was delicious..i decided to try something new and not only did it not smell or taste right but my lips started to swell up so there is obviously something allergenic in it...i Have NEVER had a reaction like this to any food or drink before..i do intend to try and get a refund or i'll have to throw it out and not risk anyone drinking it

Really disappointing. Has no redeeming features to justify the price and no resemblance to whisky. Might as well call it disgusting overpriced cordial

As the bottle sloshed around the back seat of the pick-up whilst I flew around the intersection, the dry, frizzled taste buds screamed for a sip of something familiar. The trip home was longer the usual given the ridiculous amount of slow drivers these days but at last I pulled up and walked straight inside to the bar. The favourite cup came into play and was topped up with cubed ice to help the syrup slide down. A 50/50 mix of Doc Sensibles and dry ginger ale was mixed together and swizzled around multiple times before my now parched oesophagus finally regained some moisture. The fresh drink was promptly rejected by my buds and the drink needed something else. Down the sink it went and was topped up with soda water. Far better. Now I try it with coke, even better... Moral of the story - if you are going off booze - good effort but stay with beer. Far more realistic and way nicer too. This drink is my first non-alcoholic spirit so I'm early to judge it. Served best with fizzy coke.
