For such a young red, the first taste had me hooked with its balance and initial taste. Nice complexity without being too difficult on the palate, came across as a good bodied, solid red wine. Will hold its own with any foods, loved it from the opening sip to the finals drops.

This wine ticks all the boxes for me. Great nose, full of wonderful flavours and a great, long finish. The 2022 is still young but I like the slightly punchy, lively acidic finish it delivers at this stage of its long life. It will mellow and develop more sophisticated flavours as it ages over the next decade or more. Cabernets don't get much better than this no matter how much you pay above the $40/bottle required to purchase at Dans.
