Classic delicious blend, without the ridiculous price tag

I have just drunk my way through a bunch of blended scotches to find out which is the best. JW Red, JW Black, Famous Grouse, Grants, Canadian Club, Teachers. Well, there is absolutely no doubt that Teachers is the best. It has far more peat and more malt than equivalently priced whiskies. JW isn't bad either, but this is better. After trying this, I'm not even sure I can be bothered continuing to try other blended whiskys which, aside from Teachers, have all been inferior to my starting point of JW so far. Obviously, I would prefer a good single malt, but as a regular whisky drinker who likes to drink it on the rocks, Teachers is by far the best that won't break the bank.
