the finish taste is really weird flavour . i don't know what is that. i put 1:1 Aberlour cask strenth whiskey mixed and hope to cover that weird flavour. but that flavour still jump out .without that finish flavour, i will give 4 ,with that ,i give 2.5.

This is actually quite complex. There is some quite overt grapey character on the forepalate. There is also a mix of dried fruits, vanilla & caramel. Then you begin to see the barrel impact. There is still some sherry sweetness but then gets more complex & a bit dryer courtesy of the 'port' input. This certainly has the type of complexity I would expect from Armagnac - not 'neat' enough for cognac. Once again, Angoves showcase the quality of tge St Agnes products, but with a twist. The earlier top shelf contenders have been more Cognac. This is a bit wilder, and better for it

Bought a bottle this week, nowhere near smooth. Very rough in taste and acidic. Utter waste of money. I would not recommend this product at all.

Not sure where the other critiques have drawn their comparisons from, however, this has got to be an exceptional mark in the value for money brandy wars, including parallel par French brands. St. Agnes holds its own in “every” category. This is yet another example of an Australian product showing it’s superior class. Don’t want to spend over $100AUD to impress your guests with a post prandial, then here it is!!! Cheers.
