I thought Sake was supposed to be very strong and potent...well maybe i bought a dud bottle or the wrong brand. Its voted best selling Sake in Australia hahahahaha very laughable the taste is not terrible but not yumo either, we drank in shots and had about 9 shots and didnt get not buzz

I am half Asian (as in Chinese/Malay) and for some Asians we are quite allergic to western booze. Particularly for me wine and anything made from wheat. When I say allergic I mean wine affects my circulatory system and beer affects my spare tire system. I find drinking more Asian orientated alcohol better suits my body and I suffer less from redness and bloating. SO - that is why I choose to drink sake - on ice - and sometimes mixed with something interesting like PS Wattle Cola (our of Victoria). A little more potent than your average wine but when mixed a fairly soft delicious drink you can drink all night. This particular brand of sake - I will drink more neat because it’s a great drop for the price. Not too sweet or heavy and doesn’t taste like meth (as some super cheap sake’s can taste).

This gives sake a bad name. There are so many better examples of sake including other on line stores. This is the Emu Export of sake.

I like sake chilled so it tasted good. Also good value.
