Dry as a chip, and lacking in flavour

The 2023 vintage is not ready in 2026. In over 40 years of regularly drinking red wine, this would be the driest red I've ever had. No surprises there - but very little on the flavour front to speak of into the bargain. I bought it on Member Offer but, even then, it does not belong in this price bracket. The Redman website describes it as vibrant yet full of flavour. I would say there's nothing in this wine matching that description.

A classic for a reason. Medium-bodied and delicious. The Redman family have been making shiraz for generations and you can tell why. A beautiful wine.
