It was either this or Disaronno and I read Disaronno was sweeter. I like liqueurs that aren’t sickly sweet so when I tried this i liked it. It taste like an Italian almond biscuit, maybe slightly more fruitier than the biscuit. I heard these can taste a little like cough syrup and doctor pepper when mixed with coke which I can see. But it’s not sickly sweet or like a lolly like some liqueurs. It has a pleasant nutty and fruity flavour without the sugar dominating it.
