Loved this. I like heavy chardonnays that ooze woody, earthy flavours so thought this might be the sake equivalent, I was right. Like the heavy woody chardonnays this will not be to everyone's taste but the description alerts you of what you are in for. It reeks complex flavours and depth as soon as you open the bottle and delivers the same. The blend of heavy cedar, smoke, spice (almost peppery) is well balanced adding a new dimension to my understanding of sake. Love it, try it!

This sake is so unique and unlike many others I have tried. It has a Smokey and peppery flavour that sets it apart from others. It's very savoury and almost tastes as though black pepper has been infused into it. Would recommend it but may not be for everybody.

That is the worst Sake I ever drink. I didn't even know Dake could be that bad. And my wife is Japanese and I have tried a lot of Sake.

this is by far the most unique sake i've ever had. which makes it hard to recommend, while i personally loved it, it's such a strange taste different to most other Sake on the market that unless you know what you're getting into it's an odd taste. I personaly love the woody almost spice flavour of the cedar paired with a lovely smooth sake.

Middle of the range i like the smokey taste richest of flavour for a cheap sake

I like to drink this sake with fish dishes. I love the smell!
