I love the non sparkling version so wanted to try the sparkling. Ok, it’s all right but, I prefer a few of the lesser expensive brands which have wonderful sparkling Shiraz. Stick with the non sparkling in this and you’ll be happy.

The normal Barossa Ink shiraz is great, but this bubbling version isn’t worth buying. Try the Peter Garrett instead.

The whole point of a sparkling red is the sparkle, especially as I only drink this style at Christmas, when it it competing with the Champagnes (these stay bubbly for days if stoppered) and prosecco. That said the wine has good berry flavours and can be considered a well balanced palate.

off to a bad start ... cork just made it out ... almost flat ... at best the wine was spritzig ... very disappointed as had friends over for Oz day ... the failure to launch very embarassing ... may have been dud bottle but I have a few more so.... flavour is ok... but was hoping sparkling burgundy style rather than fresco...

This wine has a lifted blackberry and sweet oaky aroma. The palate is opulent with jammy dark fruits complimented by mouthcoating tannins and bright effervescence.
