A really good wine - well worth the price. I will buy again.

PInot Noir characteristic complex nose.Wine in balance .Flavour linges in afttertaste.

I like directly comparing wines by opening 2 (or 3 or 4) different bottles at the same time and comparing them directly rather than allowing my faulty memory to recall how a wine compares to another I drank some time ago. I have compared the Primavera to their regular Pinot Noir twice now and the Primavera really isn't worth the price. Their regular Pinot is excellent and well worth the cost but this wine is comparable to the likes of Stonier, Cold Stream Hills and Yering Station, all which cost around $10 per bottle less. The others are far better value at a similar quality.

Cherry red colour, spiced red fruits on the nose with some forest floor notes. Soft velvety tannins with a medium length finish. This is Steve's early release style, enjoy it now with duck pancakes.
