V2020 - a fairly typical Voyager Chardonnay of recent years: smart clones, mlf and clever use of oak. A hint of of ripeness/melon in the palate (warm vintage?) not a bad thing. A very nice drink and a fair step up in quality from $30 sort of Margaret River chardonnays. Think roast pork or chicken food match. Might be pushing the price envelope at $53, but you can do worse wine than this even at this price.

I had a high opinion of Voyager and have been to their lovey vineyard but this one was surprisingly ordinary. Lacked complexity, lacked fruit and was distinctly "thin". I tried it out of the fridge and at various times until it reached room temperature as I believe chardonnay shop not be drunk cold but it never improved.
