I drunk it plain, just like I did it with the other, fruity gins (raspberry gin from Tasmania and plum gin from Queensland). Differently, this one had a noticeable juniper taste. It had no distinct flavour of "bush apple", as the pinky colour would suggest otherwise. I did not like it. But it is a matter of taste, I suppose. The buzz feeling arrived quickly, but it was shallow, and it did not go any deeper. It did not have the nuances of the other gins which had the smashing ethers in them. No deep buzz. From this, I make the conclusion that this gin was manufactured by mixing a good quality ethanol, water, and the extracts of the bush herbs. The drink did not have the complex flavour. As the other reviewer noted, this was a smashing success at the party... but who cares about the sophisticated taste in the parties ? At half the price, I would give it the full five stars. At the current price, I am giving it three stars.

I whipped this out at a dinner party and can happily say I was the most popular person in the room after everyone tried it.
