I am on a mission to try all gins around, and this is middle of the park. Tastes weird for me. Sorry not an expert and know how to describe what im tasting. But for me its so-so. Try at your own risk.

Great taste of blackcurrant and a good quality gin. Thousand times better than its original and mixed with lemonade goes perfectly!

The blackcurrant is subtle and makes for a very delicious and refreshing drink . Really enjoyed this one . Will definitely be buying it again.

Did you have Ribena as a child? Did you like it? If so, this alcoholic adult version of the childhood classic may be to your liking. Otherwise, steer clear! Tanqueray Blackcurrant Gin looks like watered down Ribena. Both the smell and initial mouth taste are reminiscent of the sickly sweetness of the childhood drink. The botanicals kick in after this, but fail to fully combat the overpowering blackcurrant flavour. Indeed, these elements actively work against each other, leaving an unpleasant after-taste. Give this one a miss – there is nothing subtle about it. The flavour is awful with tonic water and dominates in cocktails that contain other strong elements. A rare fail from an otherwise renowned gin producer.

Absolutely perfect if you're not a massive fan of gin. I could hardly taste the gin at all and instead only had a beautiful blackcurrant flavour. Got this as a Christmas gift but I'm stopping in to buy another bottle today for new years!
