It is a really lovely wine, it is at a reasonable price and a nice drop for a special occasion.

Now this is serious Cabernet Merlot. Aged well enough to enjoy NOW, or cellar it for another 5 years. At 14.5% its the way this style of wine ought to be. Consistent quality. Beautiful long legs, flavours of cherry, slight herb and even a little chocolate in there. Matches very well with anything char grilled such as garlic crusted steak or even roasted lamb. Suits cheeses such as aged cheddar. At this price, it is VERY hard to beat. Great tannins and a gorgeous garnet colour. For those of you who cant live without Shiraz, this will be an eye opener. It's an entirely different style and the addition of Merlot to the traditionally woody Cabernet Sauvignon really helps to round it out. This wine is a winner from the Barossa and not to be missed. Superb.
