Easy to drink and delicious. Much better than expected, would definitely recommend to a friend and buy again.

I'm not a fan of Elephant in the Room's cheaper line, but was prepared to give this Adelaide Hills one a shot. After all, Adelaide Hills delivers some good Pinot Noir wines. I couldn't even get through a couple of mouthfuls. It was jammy, full of dark nasty berries with high acid. It felt like an assault on my senses! There was nothing soft, subtle or nuanced about it. It was more like someone had bombed the forest floor. I left the bottle over night, but it didn't improve; it got worse! It had zero aroma, was strong in flavor and alcohol and failed to develop on the palate. My neighbour said it smelt like a fortified wine, but wasn't game to even try it. I'd expect to find this in the $5 bin and still be disappointed.
