Tried this one a year or so ago and wasn't impressed. But Paradox seem to have learnt since then how to make a good lower-alcohol shiraz - good balance of flavour, acid and tannin. To me it rates 4/5 now, and seems likely to age well, maybe 5/5 in a year.

This is the worst so called Shiraz I have had. It is not ‘bold’ it has the colour of a weak Merlot, and the taste I really can’t describe ?

I’ve tried them all, and this is one of the least watery of the low to medium alcohol wines. It’s flavoursome without being overly sweet and the lighter style suits the tropics - it’s hard to find a drinkable red wine that doesn’t need some degree of chilling. Early Harvest, one of the competitor wines, leaves my mouth feeling ‘furry’ after just one drink, and the numerous zero and almost zero alcohol wines taste like sugary water. It’s well worth a try, keeping in mind that you’re not drinking a Grange!

For what it’s worth, I quite enjoy drinking this wine. I’ve tried several low alcohol wines recently and generally don’t particularly enjoy them. This one however is different. I’m just hoping it will continue to be available and perhaps that other low alcohol wines will, in the future, be as drinkable as this one.

Great option for low alcohol wine, not as watery or sugary as other options on the market.

I bought four bottles of this after the staff member 'helping' assured me it would be a lovely DRY wine because it's a Shiraz. It tastes like a drink you might have with breakfast.
