I’ve tried other mezcals and this one is by far the smoothest I’ve had so I always keep coming back to this one.

I was expecting a neutral alcohol flavour but got a horrible burnt rubber taste. Will never buy it again and I'm struggling not to waste this bottle. Only my opinion but it is gross, I'm sure it's not meant to be like this...could be a dud bottle.

A shock at first especially after Milagro Reposado, but once my pallette adjusted i loved it... roasted agave... amazing flavour.

So I had the amazing experience to go to Oaxaca in Mexico (where this Mezcal is from) for my best friend's wedding. Aside from Oaxaca being one of the most beautiful cities and culturally rich places i've ever seen anywhere in the world (I came back wanting to live in Mexico!!!) they also had Mezcal everywhere... Oaxaca is the centre of Mezcal in Mexico and it was here my friends father introduced me to the different kinds of Mezcal. I was absolutely amazed at the variety and complexity of flavours. We have only had cheap and nasty Mezcals in Australia until now... This is the first Mezcal i've had in Australia that took me back to that amazing city. It's smokey, full of complex flavours... If you like a good tequila anejo, you will love this even more. They are not the same but given they are both made of agave's they are similar. I can't recommend this tequila enough and you really must visit Oaxaca and other cities in Mexico... it's such a special place with amazing people.
