Deep ruby colour wit a strong nose of dark fruits. Medium acid with light tannins and should age well. A medium body wine with a long finish.

This is a great drop, I've been drinking this for years, very smooth and not too heavy on the wallet, palate, or head the next day. You can easily smash a bottle and still feel fine the next day so perfect for a Quarantine mid weeker. Don't buy this if you are expecting a crazy bold Shiraz (I suspect that's why someone has reviewed this low), it's definitely more nuanced than the Cab Sav however - give it a crack.

Not spectacular as a stand alone wine but nicely complerments an Italian-style dish and competently accompanies a fruit and cheese platter. Reasonably light and not too dry to transition from accompanying main through to dessert. One to keep on hand for all-purpose occasions.

I thought this wine would be quite nice as I paid $18 for it. I’ve had $8 bottles that taste better than this. Definitely not worth the money.
