Look I'm new to rum. I'm still getting over that acetone / nail polish taste. This is great. That Acetone flavor you get with Alcohol is Minimal. The Banana is Almost like a Caramelized Banana. It doesn't taste Cheap, its well made. Having this with a small serving of Ice is Defiantly the way to go (in my humbled opinion of course.(just as amazing without the rocks aswell)). Giving it a chilled smooth taste. This rum is not a sickening one either. as I'm aware some flavored Rums / Whiskeys can be intolerable. Will defiantly Buy again.

She comes on the nose with a strong banana caramel note which is lovely at a moments glance but as soon as you delve in it gets funky in the worst way. It smells like a cheap recreation of when bananas go lovely and brown, but instead of banana bread you match it with a nasty burn, beyond that of just how navy strength tends to feel. They say it goes well in any classic rum cocktail but let me tell you the banana stomps over all other flavours and leaves you resenting it. The only reason it is no longer sitting on my shelf is after months I finally realised that mixing it with straight ginger beer with a heavy hand of bitters manages to combat both the taste and the sting of the burn. If you see this in the aisle next to their passion fruit or pineapple then just ignore it and choose one of them, while still just as iffy in a cocktail they at least present more of a tolerable flavour. Ultimately spiced rums are not comparable to normal rums, keep that in mind mixing with this stuff.

OMG! This rum! Highly reviewed and delivers super well on every point! Delish straight like wow! Fantastic to mix with and if there's a better rum to make Daiquiri's, I haven't tried it!! 57% ABV brings a mighty flavour bomb. Get some in your belly! SERIOUSLY!

Super versitile spirit, as a rum lover this is definately up there with the best. 11/10 stars. When drinking straight you only need the tiniest drop on your toungue for the sweet banana flavours and warmth to spread across the entire mouth. Yes its strong being 60%, but its easier to drink straight than a lot of 40% standard rums. Mixed with mango and orange juce from a bottle makes it dangerous, you cant even taste the alchohol but its delicious. Must try!

Wow, this is good! On the rocks is scary easy to drink, I even added it to a Guinness. Definitely worth treating yourself to this.
