I found my bottle to be overpowering with smoke, leather & wood. Whilst very smooth with an agreeable Mezcal palate I couldn’t get past the strong smokiness. Hopefully this will settle over the coming days.

It is clear some of the reviewers are new to the Mezcal category and think of Tequila when tasting it. Mezcal is very different to Tequila and is a completely different spirit that just happens to come from the same Agave plant as Tequila. This Mezcal is definitely one of the better ones; a smooth smoky flavour work floral notes that, like almost all Mezcal, is terrific when sipped and followed with pineapple or orange sprinkled with Tajin! The Joven style of Mezcal can differ quite a bit between brands and this is one of the best I've tried.

Absolutely not what you'd expect from a mezcal. You're hit with a flurry of smoke and leather wheb you drink this.

What a waste of money. So disappointing. Bottle cap also broke off

As smooth as mescal comes! Definitely one of my favourite agave spirits!

Undrinkable. Not even in a mixer. Very disappointing.
