Some years back this was our go to for special occasions. It suddenly became much more expensive and we would only buy on special. Now it is over priced and under delivered. Such a shame. We’ve stopped even considering it.

Ive drank earlier versions and i would class them as having a better finish,this one seem to be a little to much acidly for my liking and is well over priced at Dan Murphys shop around i found this at other places a lot cheaper

Purchased as a Christmas gift and to compare against cheaper wines. An excellent drop, certainly fruity, matched the description and very easy to drink, but proves there are just as good wines that are a lot cheaper.

Wow talk about a decline in quality. I remember savouring this and marvelling at its depth of flavour, It was the benchmark that other wineries could only dream of reaching for a good SB. I recently bought a 2021 vintage and wondered at how it could have changed so much. It was a poor reflection of what it once was. Five of us tasted it and we were all disappointed. We had another NZ SB in the fridge that cost us $17 and everyone thought it was superior. I won’t be trying it again any time soon considering the price.

I expected this to be dry, bit this is way too bitter and overpowering
