Jamesons has been my go to standard whiskey for decades. I’m also a big fan of the flavour experiments like the Caskmates Stout and Black Barrel editions. But I draw the line at this abomination, it’s just wrong. I’ve given samples to friends and no one has asked for another. Oddly enough a mix of regular Jamo’s and some Mr Black cold brew shows the concept works quite nicely, but the execution as presented here is just terrible. I’m sorry Jamesons but a true friend is honest, and IMHO this is just rubbish.

An alcoholic coffee drink. Its' unsweetened, strong coffee flavour obliterates any whisky flavour, it could be the cheapest vodka. It's only advantage is there's no sugar.

This should’ve been an awesome combination. They have combined surgical alcohol with coffee coloring.

A real opportunity here. Just awful, bordering on undrinkable.

Not often I tip out a bottle...dreadful. That Mr Black or Perone are much better coffee liqueurs.

This is not a whiskey with a hint of coffee. Its more of a coffee flavoured drink that claims to be a whiskey, or have some whiskey in it. Not my thing at all. It doesnt deserve to be on the shelf surrounded by whiskey bottles.
