Nice soft wine goes well with smoked duck salad and cheese plate. Good price and quite nice when slightly chilled in summer.

Don't be put off by the label. This is an all-purpose red wine. Not overly rich and tannic, soft and sweet with fruit, but enough of a dry finish to match most foods and not annoy your snob palate. More importantly, it's inexpensive. Enjoyed with spicy barbecued chicken. Members offer bargain.
