Very well balanced and smooth. Definitely recommend.

This is a classic wine that should not be drunk for at least 15 years. I opened one as a taster and decantered it and left it standing for 4 hours. This is a superbly made wine. I look forward to 2032 when I will drink the rest!!

I am a life member is a wine club and rate St Henri as one of the finest reds on the market. Experience telle me that the winemakers very much know the value of their wines and a young $ 100+ wine is NEVER valued at $ 40.00 by a serious wine consumer. As for me, I'll cellar this wine till it is 12 years old and optimum enjoyment to drink. Most of us don't realize how fortunate we are in Australia to have such a vast array of quality wines available and outstanding winemakers galore. Patience is a virtue and mostly very well rewarded with cellering. My only disappointments were the 80's Granges where the corks used to leak badly over time and spoilt a lot of good wine. BobM

Was my birthday purchase. Comparable example, Peter Leman “stonewell “ Shiraz- appox $85, hits my taste buds perfectly Question for your expertise, are we silly to buy and drink that wine when so young and expect $100 value.
