We’ve always believed BWS should be more than just a place to grab your faves—it should truly reflect the communities we’re part of. That’s why we’re proud to keep backing the LGBTQIA+ community through our ongoing partnership with Pride Foundation Australia and why we’re so pumped to unveil the fresh new look of our BWYASSS St Kilda West store!
As part of the glow-up, we teamed up with our good friends at Queer-ways to design an epic new mural that celebrates our vibrant and diverse LGBTQIA+ community. Inspired by the Midsumma Pride March, the artwork captures the energy of Fitzroy Street and the magic of coming together at Catani Gardens—a reminder that while we all shine as individuals, there’s something truly special about uniting as one.
The design reflects the history, joy, and strength of the community, making it the perfect centerpiece for our refreshed store. But this isn’t just about a new look. It’s about continuing to make BWYASSS St Kilda West a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all—a place where Pride is celebrated year-round.
