Life can get crazy, so finding little hacks to save time is gold. Like, why spend ages buying all the pesky ingredients and creating a cocktail from scratch when you could simply pop, pour and chill? That’s why the new light and fizzy ready-to-serve [yellow tail] cocktails are the perfect addition to your laid-back weekend or brunch soirée. Just ask their incredible ambassador, TV personality and all-round Aussie legend, Sophie Monk! We got the goss from Sophie about the new line of craft cocktails and how she gets into her ‘max-relax’ zone.

Thanks for chatting with us Sophie. So, first up, what’s your idea of the perfect weekend?
When I’m not working, I love to really relax in my downtime. My perfect weekend would be a walk down the beach with my husband, Josh, and our gorgeous dog Bluey followed by a delicious brunch at home.
Ooh, dreamy. What’s on the menu for brunch?
My personal Sunday favourite is French toast and I love to pair this with the [yellow tail] Sparkling Wild Peach Bellini. It is so easy to just pop and pour and quickly adds a bougie touch to any brunch. If I am feeling particularly fancy I’ll add some peach slices to the glass as a garnish.
#drool. That’s a great tip for adding that extra ‘oomph’ to an at-home brunch or to impress your mates. Apart from French toast, what’s your favourite 'chill time’ food and drink pairing?
If I am relaxing at home, especially on a hot summer day, I can’t go past a [yellow tail] Sparkling Blood Orange Mimosa, poolside with some watermelon, cucumber and mint salad. I also make sure to chop some extra cucumber slices for my eyes for the ultimate relax session.
You can’t go past a classic Mimosa! Love that the range offers that tasty twist on familiar faves. How did your partnership with [yellow tail] come about? It seems like the perfect match!
My love for [yellow tail] started many years ago when I was living in LA and discovered it for the first time. I was attracted to the iconic wine brand because it’s delicious and great value. I actually reached out to the brand and was genuinely thrilled to officially partner with an Aussie brand that epitomises everything I enjoy about life, love, and wine.
Speaking of iconic, you always seem to be pretty busy with epic projects. What’s your go-to for self-care to wind down?
I'm not very good at committing to trends, I just do what makes me happy. I feel like when I moderate and don't obsess over wellness, I feel healthier. I’m not very strict with anything. The main thing is to get more sleep and drink more water. I’ve tried meditating but I’m still trying to master it. I’m so jelly-belly of those who can meditate!
