Mulled Gin Cocktail Recipe

Sure, you may have done it with wine or whisky, but how about mulling gin? Bring this summer spirit into the cooler seasons by heating and flavouring it with warming herbs, spices and citrus. This cold-weather cocktail infuses the dry white wine base with spicy fresh ginger, peppery cardamom, earthy bay leaves and of course, Bombay Sapphire Lemon Presse for a warming glass of gin that could rival any of the classics.

    • 40ml Bombay Sapphire Lemon Presse
    • 100ml dry white wine
    • 3 slices fresh ginger
    • Cardamom pods
    • Bay leaves
    • Garnish: lemon wedge and rosemary

      To a small saucepan, add 100ml dry white wine, 3 slices fresh ginger, 4 cardamom pods and 2 bay leaves.

      Heat over high heat until steaming then reduce to low heat for 5 mins.

      Pour 40ml of Bombay Sapphire Lemon Presse into a glass, then strain the rest of the liquid on top.

      Stir and garnish with lemon and rosemary.
