The depth of colour was the first disappointment, not deep at all, caused me to think hmmm, this is not going to have the body & smoothness of a good Merlot. And so true to my feeling, it lacks depth, fullness and any real character on the palate. Won't buy again.

I have tried various merlot, different price points, for a lower end this tops the list for me in terms of value, quality and taste.

An insipid Merlot - very disappointing although I suppose you get what you pay for. Maybe the journey to Australia from Italy spoiled the wine? It won't be gracing my dinner table again.

I bought a couple of these at Dans as am a merlot drinker. The vintage was 2019. I opened one this evening, I found not much bouguet on the nose. Too dry for me, not much fruit and not very smooth. I prefer a smoother, not so dry merlot like most of the Australian wines. This wine may appeal to some who prefer a drier merlot. Not a bad wine, but not to my taste and others may feel the same way. I would not purchase it again.

It is a drink that you can have any time with any food you eat or not

What an absolutely lip smackingingly delicious Merlot, highly recommended and for under $10 outstanding value. Buy it.
