Tasty enough and a reasonable drink. This WCIPA is nothing like the traditional style that Pirate Life are usually so very good at. Light in colour, not piney or dank and was a bit thin on the malt bill. One suspects Balter had more influence in the construction of this beer. Bit of a shame as they are both quality brewers. Would certainly drink again but wouldn't rush out to grab it

Two favourite breweries decided to join forces and brew a couple of beers... Hazy IPA was awesome but was disappointed with the West Coast IPA. Limited flavour and was left a bit hmmmm after drinking it. Lucky I caught COVID last week so at least finished it off when I couldn't taste anything

This is one of those IPAs that needs to sink to room temperature a bit. Super cold out of the fridge it comes across as weak and strident but the body needs some warmth to emerge. I know sounds very pretentious but worth the wait.
