the 2008 vintage has great wild cherry and earthy/savoury notes with some warm spices, all on a soft yet full palate. It's one of those forest floor, funky and complex pinots, which for the price is a step above most of it's rivals. Would be a perfect match for crispy duck.

The Estate Vineyard at Dixons Creek in the Yarra Valley was first planted in 1971 and has undergone expansions and replanting over nearly 50 years. Our goal is to leave it in a better place for the generations to come. The Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir is made from the five plots predominantly east and south facing slopes. Beautifully perfumed and ethereal, blue fruits, sandalwood and violets. Bright vibrant flavours, supple, seamless and with lovely tension.
