Don Julio Reposado is that perfect middle ground tequila—smooth, but still bright and lively. It has a light golden color and a fresh, slightly sweet smell with hints of citrus and vanilla. Don Julio Reposado is aged for 8 months, which is longer than the standard aging process. It has an amber color with a rich smooth silky finish. This is a top shelf tequila in every since of the term. It does come with a hefty price tag, but it’s so worth it. We normally buy the large bottle but there has been distribution problems, so grab whatever you can get when it’s in stock. Also, this will elevate your margaritas to new levels.

If you like tequila you know reposado, añejo and Blanco are the usuals. I'm not a huge fan of añejo but reposado and blancos usually are good. I am a fan of Don Julios reposado too. Don Julio in general is not a very affordable tequila if you are on a budget but sometimes you can find good sales. This tequila in particular has a really rich flavor and smooth finish. Again I usually mix my tequila with squirt or chase it with a lime. This one is a hit and if your scared of dark liquors due to hangovers this one has never given me one!
