The De Bortoli Rutherglen Estate is situated in the north-east corner of Victoria, one of the most progressive and diverse viticultural regions in Australia. Rutherglen is the perfect region for making Shiraz with great intensity of flavour, colour and palate weight. The Rutherglen Estate Shiraz is made from fruit that is specially selected from the lowest yielding vines on our vineyards. The wine has been allowed to develop and mature in French and American oak barrels. It is a delicious, mouthfilling, intensely flavoured wine with great length and rounded, ripe tannins.
