This is the Scotch that I serve to my friends who appreciate good whisky.

This is the first Glenmorangie I've sipped on, and to be honest it's absolutely fantastic! After the first sip it's very clear that Glenmorangie use high quality casks for their maturation, as the flavour profile is complex but well balanced. Everything falls into place nicely with this well made Scotch Whisky, the nose, the oily texture, the aftertaste. The sauternes cask, was a really good choice, and it gives a nice moderate to long finish to this young but pleasant Whisky. I have always thought that the older the Whisky the better, but now I understand that many (NAS) non age statement Whisky's made well, using high quality seasoned casks, and (Non Chill Filtered) are giving many (aged Whisky's) a good run for their money. Presentation box, bottle and label are all well thought out. A really good drop, just a bit pricy on DM, and that needs to change, or customers will just buy cheaper elsewhere!
