Much better for less is available. Ordered six bottles and struggled to get through them...all the same, rough around the edges and a bit astringent.

I have to agree with the first review provided in 2013 for this wine. Ignore the second review entirely. This wine is a great value Chardonnay that has all the hallmarks of a traditional Chardonnay style and drinks beautifully. There is just enough oak present which underpins the terrific fruit balance and acidity. The 2015 is a seriously good white that is comparable with wines at least three times the price. You will be lucky to find a comparative Australian wine that goes anywhere near this wine for the price and depth of flavour.

Save your money; many wines are better than this. It's almost average.

One of the store's best value lines. Paul Mas winemakers have neatly pitched the style comfortably between those too-austere Chardonnays and those old-style over-oaked and too peachy versions. I've not found an Australian Chardonnay that can compete with this one on price. A tip for first time drinkers of this wine: it benefits from a few hours exposure after opening. Great the second day, and it is under screwcap which assists storage in the fridge.
