If you like a light, crisp and refreshing wine then this one is not for you. I've tried some really lovely Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio's lately. Unfortunately this one wasn't for me.

Well! What can I say? I disagree with this wine being "too sweet" as stated by other reviewers, who probably favour Australian Sauvignon Blanc. I was looking for an alternative to Sav. Blanc, and if anything, this wine leans more towards an Austrian styled white wine. Clean, full, lingering... almost "medium/dry sherry" taste on the palate, with a most beautiful golden hue. The taste... reminiscent of autumn... combined with apples and gooseberries. A truly beautiful wine, made by one of New Zealand`s truly great established wineries! Impressive!!!

If you like really sweet wines, then this is probably a good choice. If you don't like sweet wines, then I would avoid it

It's taken me 50 years but finally I've found a wine thats truly OUTSTANDING. full-bodied, deep, honey, fruity - it's like nectar. Can't get enough of this.

Not too subtle at all. Tastes like an der wine with fruit a little old.
