This has the Left bank goods...deep, unctuous fruity (dark) chocolatey and a beautiful long finish. left Bank haut medocs are hard to find...leave some for me. Great price at the moment.

Haven't had much luck with French wines at Dans' but this one hit the spot after. tried it at the recommendation of the Got Somme wine channel on youtube. Easy drinking with a good long finish. Plummy and fruity with nice oak influence and tannin. Very round wine and extremely well priced compared to other wines.

A great French number, I am new to French wine and this is my favourite by far and very affordable.

Its tannin level is a bit high for my liking. But in overall a good wine.

As soon as you take the first smell - you know this is a genuine Bordeaux wine and for the price a good entry level wine. Some Bordeaux wines at around this price show, to me, absolutely no regional characteristics - could be from anywhere - but not this wine! There is the typical fruit aromas - plums and cherries, but then that tell tale earthiness like pencil lead and cedar. Although a dry wine, there is a sensation of sweet fruit on the palate that just makes you go back for more and more. A very well balanced wine.

Being French I'm used to drinking French wines and would rate it average at best, not a good value for money
