Light as a pinot should be but carries a good depth of flavour though to a slightly dry finish. Definitely an enjoyable wine

Very smooth drinking and pleasant flavours of the Wairarapa - highly recommended.

We're always on the lookout for a nice pinot, saw this and thought we'd try it. So many times pinot can be thin, tart and underwhelming but to say this one was a big surprise is an understatement. Beautiful fruit flavours without being too ripe, good nose with aromas of violets, cherries and heated vanilla that didn't fade, we ended up drinking the whole bottle at a meal leaving none for the next day. Back to Dan's for more!!!

Best pinot under $20 easily. It's simple but very nice. A good intro to pinot I guess. Their higher level pinots are also excellent. They have a nice cellar door too!
