Outrageous colour depth, flavour intense, bold/grippy tannins and notes of dark chocolate. This wine is an sheer delight.

Great potential in this ... balance, incredible depth and complexity. Loaded with tannins that give it a slight sharpish edge now at 3 years, but the sort of tannins needed to age and mellow a wine of this depth to perfection. One of the best of a great style of full bodied reds - the Rutherglen Durifs - that we've only just discovered. Wish we'd found them earlier so we could be enjoying the 10 plus yr olds now, while we put away classics like this.
