With enough decanting, this is indeed a classy wine. You’ll find some stores have some 2012’s left. So do yourself a favour and grab a bottle. These sorts of wines can get very expensive!

Initially, this was like walking into a deli. Lots of cured meats, green peppercorns, with a hint of clove and some other herbaceous notes. On the palate, sour cherry, strawberry, plum and blackfruits. Bold, upfront tannins, and so much softer as it opened up. I’d decant it for at least 90 min. Loved it. A lovely super Tuscan.
